rolleyes Anyone tried ForceWare Vista 169.21?

169.21:

*Added support for GeForce 8800 GTS 512 GPU.
*Recommended driver for the latest DirectX 9, DirectX 10, and OpenGL applications.
*Numerous game and application compatibility fixes. Please refer to the release documentation for more information on features, driver fixes, and known issues.

Grab them from Guru3D (XP x86, x64, Vista x86, x64):

Nice, I've avoided all those unofficial betas so I'll throw this in. Don't expect to notice any difference but why not.

Yea, I just tried them for awhile.... Crysis crashed 3 times on me over a short period of time, where 17's ran smooth.

I will say yhis set looked better in most parts, yet also had some glitches, like flashes lights / glares that just shouldn't have been there.

FPS average was about 21 for my rig, where as the 17's were about 23 average according to the crysis bencmarking tool.

Ok, I'll try Crysis later when I get home. Ran a few benchmarks for about 12 hours with .17 yesterday (overklocking) and everything was fine, no crashes or strange glitches. Anyway, sholdnt take long to see if it's something wrong with these drivers..

Uppdated:
Benchmarked for 10 hours with .21, no crashes, to me these are very much alike .17. Haven't tested the performance though, but same score in 3DMark06...
