System Specs

http://www.station-drivers.com/forum...hp?p=8331#8331

Station-Drivers have modded the set to allow for install on existing cards. They installed fine for me, but I'm getting an error when I start games suggesting I update my drivers. Nhancer no longer works, as it says my drivers are too old. Good news is this. I ran the Source bench and gained 11fps average. Guild Wars runs a bit smoother, and STALKER beta runs great. Other than that, they look fine IQ wise.

I should note, I'm running XP x64.

I need a bit more information before switching to these for Xp. I'm using NGO 97.92 currently.

Just want to thank you for posting this news of avaiable newish drivers. I know some users criticize some of the unofficial driver releases, but I'm glad that you all still post links to the drivers and let us all make our own decision to use them or not.

When I installed this driver, it was before you made the edit to your 1st post. I got them installed, and so far, so good. I had a couple of installation errors, about CRC check for a file used by the installer not matching a file I had on my PC, and a can't find nvhwvid.dll, but I made my way through the instalation OK.

It's a good thing I spot these types of threads and read them. It was one of these threads that lead me to read other threads and know to save a copy of nvhwvid.dll from my NGO 9792 driver installation. And during installation, I just selected to ignore the other error about the CRC not matching. I hope that wont cause me to start seeing problems with this 100.95 instalation.

Will read your edited post later. I'm tired, right now, LOL.

Thanks for posting, and y'all keep us informed?

m not sure as to why that nvhwvid.dll issue is occuring as the file nvhwvid.dl_ is supposed to be present... the problem might be due to the files being already expanded.. so simply expand (using cmd prompt) nvhwvid.dl_ to nvhwvid.dll

the nvhwvid.dll is actually the hardware motion estimator driver, which is a part of the PureVideo decoder,... its basically used to accelerate MPG2 and hardware deinterlacing.

I posted this once, but it didn't take.

Thanks for posting the updated info. I tried the installer, and it worked without any errors. However, it wasn't a spectacular installer like the EVGA installer was.
