bloody.. vista. Need 8800 classic menu driver/.inf.. anyone?
So i've installed vista.... the main thing holding me back from doing the switch is that, i can't set my dual monitors in SPAN mode.... like c'mon, it's the best way to be. None of this Dual View shit.. I want [ s p | a n ] !!
I tried using the drivers hoonu32 provivded us in this thread.. but no go. still the same poop! overall!!!!! vista aint actually that bad..... a little more clicks to get to places, but otherwise, it is very pretty. |

the limitation is the driver there bud.
currently, NVIDIA drivers do not have good dual monitor support as you've come to find out. basically, you just gotta wait a lil while longer for newer drivers to come out. Also, if you did read into the thread, the drivers aren't a true 110.xx version, it's a modified 100.40 version. Much earlier than even the 100.59s that were released the day of Vista's launch. |
