Thermalright announces XP90c

Thermalright XP-90C Press Release

Following up on the back-to-back successes of our immensely popular XP-120 and XP-90 many of our hardcore and gaming customers urged us to release an all copper version of our XP-90

What makes the XP-90-C so special is its universal application to AMD K8 as can be seen here; Athlon64 FX 3200+ (socket 939/940) /Athlon64 3200+ (socket 754) up to and above.

But, that's not all; it's also universally compatible with Intel P-4 socket 478 up to and above 3.2 GHz. Due to the additional weight of the XP-90-C the P4 version includes a metal frame and back plate that must be used to insure proper weight distribution so the motherboard will not get warped due to excessive weight.

Specifications:

The XP-90-C weighs in at 690g without a fan installed, with a fan, the XP-90C weighs approximately 810g.

The XP-90-C is child's play to install and fan retention wires are supplied for use of either 80 mm or 92 mm fans.

The overall dimensions are; 110 (L) x 125 (W) x 63 (H) mm, again, before installation of your choice of fans.

The XP-90-C is constructed of all copper fins soldered to a copper base with copper heat pipes. The XP-90-C is will insure effective and efficient heat transfer away from the Core of your CPU, with the added feature of the overhanging fins bringing extra cooling to memory modules or NB just like its brothers the XP-120 and XP-90.

With the XP-90-C joining its brothers, Thermalright's XP family offers the end-user superior cooling and high performance, second to none, and the family is designed for use with lower noise fans as well as high performance fans, the choice is yours to make!!

Finally, the XP-90-C like the XP-90 has very few if any, known compatibility issues. It simply fits just about every P4 and K8 motherboard we know of!
