I think th buffers are starting to get "overrated".... they should be useing larger buffers now, probably for the 1tb drive, should have like 256mb buffer at least.

So...where are they? Not on newegg, tigerdirect.ca or ncix.com. I'd like to see some benches if they're worth getting because once they're out the 7200.10's will drop in price.

well.... i asked newegg to stock them, that probably wont be done until several days from now....
but they're just out for a few days so most stores are just barely getting stock in.... i mean they're not as in demand as GPU's or anything like that
anyways..... i can't wait to RAID 0 two 500GBs together..... that would be so awesome.....

w/RAID 0 on 2x500Gb drives, you might want to go w/RAID 0+1. but that'll be expensive as you will need 4x500Gb drives, lol.

yea..... but i was really planning on the 2x 500s and a 1TB drive, the 2x500s for programs and expendable data and the internal 1TB for inexpendable and large pieces of data....
but at least by then, these should be at a more reasonable price and probably larger capacities....
