Original Barcelona specs get a 500 MHz boost up to 2.9 GHz for quad core

Title says it all...I take the inquirer with a little bit of salt, but they're on track a lot of the time, so I think this is probably true based on statistics  "...look for five SKUs at launch, AM2 quads at 2.6GHz, 2.7GHz and 2.9GHz, a dual at 2.7GHz and a quad on socket F at 2.8GHz." -The Inquirer Last edited by Skyfire : May 7, 2007 at 03:41 AM.
