??? Audigy 2 ZS for Laptops

HiI am absolotely new to midi, and to this forum. I am running a laptop, windows 2000,a realtek Chip on Mobo, Freuity Loops, and an M- Audio keyuboard. At this time I do not want to do any recording, only playback, the problem is latency. It sits at about 34ms, which feels like playing in molasses, since I am playin classical piano. Does anybody know or think, that I can improve the performance by installing an Audigy 2 ZS for Laptops, and by installing the xK drivers. I appreciate any help in this. Thx vonroeder
