System Specs

Shuttle SD31P vs. SilverStone SG01

Mention the words SFF to any computer enthusiast and chances are that they will mention Shuttle. I mean, why wouldn't they? Shuttle has been around for what seems like forever and the products that they make are solid and just plain work. Yes, other companies have tried to enter the market, but the fact remains that Shuttle is the industry leader.

Though Shuttle systems work well, they suffer from a flaw in that you must buy a complete package. In short, if you want to change the motherboard, then you must also change the case and the power supply. This is great for those who don't change their systems very often, but what about those who like to try out new hardware? Enter Silverstone. Known for their excellent desktop and HTPC cases, they recently launched a new product, the Sugo SG01 which offers users the benefits of an SFF chassis, but offers a much high level of flexibility.
