I need help with a system for a friend

I have never built a small computer before and have some questions. To my understanding I am building a Micro ATX system. My questions from the lack of info on newegg's page is:

1. Will a full size power supply fit? I think it would?
2. Will a full sized video card fit? I have a ATI X1950 pro 256 card pick out
3. Any problems with the case or anything I should know before building?

Case:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811133033

Video card:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814161058

Power supply:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817103937

Thanks for the help!

You should be alright. You have to remember that the more you stuff in there the more wires you have to deal with. The only thing I would recommend is to get a modular PSU with the shortest wires possible and the shortest housing possible.

Are you sure you want to go skt AM2?
I would not get a board that had on board video. Get a different model without video and in the same price range and more times then not you will get a better board that is more on the enthusiast side of the spectrum.

I'd be cautious on the length of the video card - the 1950pro is 12inches long and it doesn't look like you have that much length for it in a PCIe slot - the hard drive bays look to be in the way...

I know Dyre had trouble mounting one of those in a mid tower case no less. I'd call the manufacturer for a recommendation on the length.

The card isn't even 10 inches long unless there is a version that the fan sticks out past the pcb. I personally have not seen any that do.

There aren't any mATX motherboards without onboard video at all as far as I know. And no one made a mATX 'enthusiast' motherboard, ever.

Oh yeah, the length of the X1950Pro is 30cm (a mere 11.8 inches).

The case will take both ATX PSUs and full sized cards (just not too long, so I would be careful with that X19** card. Better look at an 8600 series card perhaps?) but I would go with a modular PSU. Things are bound to get real tight in there!
