I won't lie: I play online with a group of friends for over 3 years, and now they decided to play a new game wich i can't cause I have a 5 years old mid-end(back in 2003 it was mid-end) videocard, and i can't afford a new one cause hardware here in Brazil are extremely expensive(like a 8500GT for 370 bucks or a 9800 GX2 for more than 3000 bucks).Please help me to solve my problem, if you do, i will finally be able to play with my friends and be happy ever after.

I bought this 600W 80Plus certified PSU a while ago and today the parts of my system idles around just 120W measured at the socket. A HD4870x2 card would help raise that number quite a bit and make the powersupply more meaningful.

i've never been able to run the latest PC games with all the bells and whistles without lowering all the way down the resolution...
with this wonder, i'll be capable of running all (yes, ALL) those games, even the ones that will come out a year after getting it!
i'll won't let you down, i'll make sure that this gets plenty of juice in its cool and quiet new home that i'll buy for it =D

i was finishing my first college year, i was so tired of taking Math II with a George Bush clone (yes, he looks like him) as my teacher everyday... i just wanted summer break to start, so i could kill some soldiers in BF2142 pretending they were him...
summer break finally started, and two weeks after that... on a sunday morning, while my brother was Photoshopping a little, my 1 year-old 9550 AGP died...
couldn't believe it... i just simply couldn't... by that time i had no money... and that summer break, there was no gaming for me...

when i got some money, i was able to get a new X1650... but, i still can't see the latest games with all those beatiful textures, dynamic lightning & shadows... all this along a huge resolution... this red-haired heroine, code-named 4870x2, is my only hope to see it all in its full splendor...

this is a true story... still got the card, resting in peace in its box :'(

I need this video card because, I just built a computer a month ago and

while i was out of town my brother took it with out asking and started using it

to feed his crack addiction= world of world craft. while i was on my way back

I was gone for 3 weeks he managed to spill soda all in the inside of my

computer

he fried my 4870. and my ram i didnt even get to try crysis on it

if i win this card it would help me alot.

I'm a first year college student and i just bought crysis 2 because its amazing. The problem is i don't have a computer to play it or any other games in that fact. I once had a computer that could handle games with a maximus formula board, q9450, ocz pc9200 flex, ati 2900xt 1g and a coolit freezone to cool my cpu. It was running great for a few days unitl one day it quit. The freezone mangaged to get so cold it condensated and dripped water on the motherboard and graphics card. Everything fried. Now i'm using a computer with inegrated graphics playing starcraft and quite often.. it lags. Though this is refueling my love for startcraft, what am i going to do when starcraft 2 comes out with all its glory and with havok physics.

I haven't been able to play a DirectX 9.0c game in all it's glory. It all started with Fable, being unable to pump it to maximum quality. No biggie, I thought to myself.

How wrong I was...

Things just kept getting worse, it got to a point where certain games would not even think of launching without SmartShader 3.0, and now we are in the age of DirectX10 where the games I do run show my system's age, I haven't even touched any of the blockbuster titles.

To think, this graphics card survived 2 power surges. (I can't say the same for the rest of the system...)

Hang in there, my little AGP buddy...

last week i found out that i have cancer in my right eye.
my parents have said i can do what ever i want before i lose it.

but sadly i come from a poor family and cannot afford anything special... and i dun want to cause them any more trouble then i already have

all i ever wish for when i go 2 sleep is that i would see the worlds best graphics before i loose my right eye.

if i got this 4870x2 you would of have answered my wishes and made a sick person very happy for the one last time

I can't sleep and need constant action and lets face it, I'm not gonna get that in new games from my Nvidia :/ 8800gt card, so I really need this card to make my life a bit more tolerable.

I diserve this card more then anyone... why?
A week ago I was doing grocery shopping with my bike to make a nice dinner for my family, and on the way home I got hit by a car! Luckily I was alright but my bike was broken and I had to walk home after I received the personal information from the guy that hit me. After I went with my bike to the shop to see if it could be fixed they told me it was total loss and I had to buy another bike. After I told this to the man who hit me he said that he saw the bike and didn't believe it was total loss and won't pay me my expenses. So now I used my hard earned cash on a new bicycle instead of on new hardware...
So please help me out, I would very much appriciate it!

I need this card because I have a four week old baby girl. Baby girl => sleepless nights. Sleepless nights => time for games. Time for games => need for graphic card.

(Of course, it doesn't work like this in reality. I still need to find a way to game and take care of the baby at the same time. Though I imagine that by the time she's two years old she'll be able to beat me in most games.)

This is the 3Rd ti I'm trying to win a good card on DH... I really do want to suprise my dad and get him the best rig ever so he can enjoy the only game he loves which is MS flight simulator.. we all know what demands that game has.. so !? can you guys maybe help me?? I have enough for the system but the card?! thats just toooooo much for me...my dad has a p4 1.5 with a geForce 3.. can you guys believe that?!
