Why should I get this great ATI Card ? Well, because, I’m a deserving Sapphire & ATI lover or fanboy.I recently got out of money while building my new rig.My old card craps at 800x600@16bits.... so my eyes are getting really bad..I need this awesome 4870 X2 immediately to save my eyepower.


There r other reasons as well that u should give this beasts to me :--


• Coz I love PCs but don't have a high-end one.

• Coz i build all of my friend’s pcs, i help them with buying decisions, recommend them parts and stuff like that, just to be around computers.

• Coz i like damn fast graphic cards but can’t afford them coz I am a poor student & i only have 100$ and i can't afford going for a good GPU with that sort of money.

• Coz I’m even ready to send my old card to u if I get to win an ATI 4870 X2.

• I’m unemployed. I can’t buy things of my own.Please give me this card or find me a good job.

• My current graphics sucks & this new card would make my graphics yummy .

• And I think I love you guys .

So, it would be great if u consider me as a winner so that I can play games with atleast some decent frame rates & I can save my money for a new build.

PS: I just want to play games at more than 20fps!!!!!! o yeah and did i mention please ? .....................

The Royal Computer does have one PCI-E 16x slot & the motherboard does work very bad with the integrated GPU.It needs a discrete PCI-E card to operate properly.So, I Require a new graphics card for The Royal Computer but The Rebel Army surrounding the palace will not let me out.

Ok i've read many sad sad stories. I'm too not gonna lie.My story is kinda same like them as well. I hope to win this marvelous set so that I can see what this thing called DirectX 10/10.1 has to offer.I have always gone with integrated graphics coz I can’t really afford to buy any high end Graphics card and I always had to put up with crap about it. Whenever I try to play 3D games or even some rendering works, my machine keeps on telling me politely that my lag is graphics related.

I am also one of those deserving people who can’t run 3D games on their machines bcoz they r simply unable to buy a high end GPU for financial problems. I’m one of those unfortunate guyz who always feel envy or jealous when they see others playing Full Scene Anti-Aliased 3D games.Frankly speaking, I would loved to be a recipient of such magnificent piece of hardwares.I've never been converted into a complete gamer because my inbuilt video have always let me down & ruined my 3D lust. I can get playable levels, on games like “ Super Mario” & “Road Rash” (which I hate to play coz there’s nothing “3D” about them) but not quite on games released in the last few years. Otherwise I have a decent system, please let me get some use out of it!

If u provide me this ATI 4870 X2, I can assure u that , It will be looked after in the most lovingly tender fashion.It would be resigned to a most dire fate of integrated video.

If u give me this card ,you will be making a generous contribution to the gaming community which I also wanna be a part of.

I’ll not be doing any voltmod to the card coz I don’t like to see some extra “FPS” by torturing the GPUs.

Please revive the inner gamer in me and pimp my computer! So, please please let me win so i can see what true graphics are like.

I am filthy rich. I could buy hundreds of high end cards for you poor guys.
Here is the deal:

Though I need this graphics card very badly but i think ,my mother should win this more than me.She has recently retired and is trying her best to upgrade the family computer.We have bits done already but she really can't afford a good GPU, neither can i.

I was searching for something that, what can I give her to see some smile on her face, I suddenly came across this Driverheaven giveaway in which I can get something for her that will make her smile for sure. I would give this to her as a present, & I would love to see her face.

I would post pictures of her face if I get to win the card.I may have a slim chance in winning, but its worth a try to see if I can give something to her.

Believe me , since birth I’ve only taken things from them (my parents) which they’ve continued to provide me.Everything I wanted they have tried every means to fulfill that & never wanted anything in return of that affection.

Now, it’s my turn to return back something.One strange thing is that my mother works in a game designing company but can’t play or even work with games at home because of the crappy graphics.

I really need this grafix's card.
A few days ago now i for some reson got up and walked away from my computer for once ( i know what was i thinking a ) I then proceded to walk around this strange world that was outside of my room. I walked around and i found some things just like me ( they didant even have guns attached to there arms! ) i talked to them and they said "this is the real world" and i looked around. And guess what in this "real world" the grafix were amazing everything was so detailed. In shock i ran back to my pc thinking "no that cant be right we all know pc's always have the best grafix" I got back to my pc and luckly i found this compotition befor i turned mad.
I really need this grafix card so i can yet again see that pc's still have the greatest grafix in the universe and is still greater than this "real world".

hi people, first post, but I have read many of your reviews before and like your site, this competition finally convinced me to register.

here is my story, I have read many hilarious (and disturbing) reasons why other people should get the card, but im just gonna tell the truth.

At the moment i have a pathetic PC which i have had for about 7-8 years (i think, i have kinda lost count!). how pathetic? put it this way, the graphics card has no pixel shaders (GeForce 440 MX) and the CPU is well, I dont even wanna talk about it. (suffice to say i cant do much more than browse the net)

anyway, I finally saved up enough to upgrade (it took about 1.5 years) and after much debating and umm-ing and ahh-ing i plumped for a £1000 ($2000 if you are from the USA) q6600 tri-sli system bought from what i thought was a respectable guy on eBay (he had like 600 feedbacks!!!). It came, and i found that the wires were hanging out and nothing was connected up and it would not even boot up, after a long time reading forums and guides i got it going, no thanks to the guy that sold it to me. After installing vista and crysis i was ready to try it out!! all was going well!!! as soon as crysis finished loading up, i "pressed any key to start" and pop, the PSU went up in smoke (literally). three hours it lasted.

3 x 9800GTX's and a quad core powered by a 650w PSU!? what was this guy thinking!!

as he is a trader, he sold it with a warranty (albeit a very limited one) and accepted it for return, which i had to pay for.

2 weeks went by and i heard nothing from him, and finally it came back, this time with a huge dent in the side, a faulty memory module and a 9800GTX with all its capacitors missing.
I was furious!!! I immediately rang him up and he was not happy about it, he said i must have done it, and that when i opened the side of the case i invalidated his warranty. it clearly was not me as thats how i pulled it out of the box, and the damage was really substantial, like it has been dropped down the stairs, and there was no damage to the box!!!

long story made a little shorter, i tried claiming on paypal, they told me to return it, which i did and gave them a tracking number, but then ruled it was in his favour. F***ing great, (sorry, but its a grand i lost) £1000 lost and nothing to show for it. 18 months of saving down the drain.

im not making any of this up, i can prove it to you if you want!!!

i guess a 4870x2 would be nice, but i bet someones story is worse than mine, and hey, at least i didnt lose a limb.
(It cost me an arm and a leg though. )

I need this card so I can sell 2 8800GTX's and buy a power supply since I have a system with no power because I'm a broke, full-time student paying for tuition. This video card and the new powersupply are so bad ass that I can get all the hot girls with my uberrig.

I like everyone else here have to go into the really boring world called the real world everyday to learn so I can latter in life earn money to allow me to live, Although this is annoying in itself everyone has to do it so I carry on going into this real world. But it is not the fact that this real world is intensely boring and repetitive ( Plus it actually hurts when your char takes damage ) that annoys me the most about this world, it is the really poor graphics that annoy me the most about this world.

As you can see from this time line the graphics in the real world were once advancing fairly quickly but within the last few years the graphics have not even really been advancing (especially when compared with games).


So now we can see that the graphics in the real world are not even advancing any more I was thinking how could I get the graphics in the real world to improve. So as we all know this real world is controlled by gods ( sort of admins ) and it stands to reason that in this real world there is a god that controls the graphics. So I intend to sacrifice this 4870x2 to the god of graphics. Here is a little picture to explain what I expect to happen when I sacrifice the card.

As you can see the real world really needs this graphics upgrade to improve the experience for everyone. So send me the graphics card so I can improve the boring real world for everyone if only slightly.

Why do I need this graphics card? Well speaking for stay at home dads evrywhere. We are told that we don't have time for games anymore, and therefore don't need to spend any extra on a new card. Whilst I see the validity of this argument I have to answer with the time honored answer...
"Well how am I supposed to save the world in the small time allotted to me with sub-standard graphics?"
I say that I should have the best tools available to me! Who else shall hold back the invading minnions of evil while rocking the wee one to sleep? Who else prey tell, shall stop the villains from robbing that bank while waiting for the formula to warm?

Well at the moment it is that other guy.

BUT, if it was me. Never fear world! For nap time shall be safe once again! And the small tikes shall be able to look apon driverheaven and I can say "Yes this is where the magic started" Followed quickly by "No mum doesn't need to know about this"

I try my best to keep up with the young guns in online shooters, (my favorite). It's hard to do especially when your video card has seen better days. The old reflexes are good but not as good as they were. A better video card would certainly help this gamer. I'm 62 years old and never dreamed when I was a pup, (like most of you are now), that this type of gaming would be possible. Luckily it is and I wasn't about to miss out on it just because I'm old. At my age, jobs are not that plentiful, especially those that pay worth a crap. I am eligible to draw Social Security but I choose to work instead. Not much left over to buy a decent video card. No matter, I'll keep playing and trying to improve. I've set a limit that when I hit 70 I have to give up the hard core shooters and start looking for girly man types of games that have fairies and cast spells. But for now, that new 4870x2 would knock about 20 years off this old fart.

i think i should get that card because when i always wanted to have something with which i can always play the latest the only gaming things i gt is my nintendo 64 and super nintendo which i got a 10 years ago i think so i mostly go to my friends house and play on his compuer it is kind of embarrasing doing so please could i get the card so i dnt hve to feel embarrased

when i showed my system to a pc consultant or doctor we may call..he told me that my monitor would soon die and i had to replace it! Later in the night i heard my monitor crying and begging to have a look at the whole world before dying! So if DH gives me this beauty,i will render the whole world in Flight simulator X in max settings which is not possible in my integrated chip so that my monitor rests in peace!!
