I have one little question regarding this question:
Where was it written in the contest rules that we had to post funny entries?
I thought we had to look over the Tabula Rasa bestiary and propose some monsters that eventually can be integrated for real in the game in the next expansion.
If I knew this I woud have posted completely different entries.

Anyway,I have placed my vote!

I kinda agree with CoolZone, i tought it should be some serious stuff, and that maybe they would actually add the monster in the game in future updates...And i also would posted completely different monster....

BTW, I tough it was 50 words max...winnebago posts has 68 words....

It's natural that you'll get a bit frustrated & will feel deprived when you'll enter like in 30 contests & never win.What i've said was in utter frustration.If i'm not optimistic, i wouldn't have taken part in all your contests.I know i'll never win in Driverheaven, but i'll still try because i'm not one of those lucky people who wins in every contests ,nor can i afford buying PC parts because i have a large family which i have to look after.So, i can't buy anything for myself.You won't understand my pain but sorry for what i've written as you've quoted but that was just my frustration which was speaking.Nothing personal.I'm trying to win a ram contest since 3 years but couldn't even win even 1 contest (I've played like 50+ ram contests).

I'm really very sorry for that comment but it was completely my frustration which made me say that.Extremely sorry for that.

wow sushrukh maybe you have some really bad luck. I mean its not like all the companies who run competitions know you are a whinger or something and deliberately dont pick you.

Most of the winners really have nothing to do with Driver Heaven.

Maybe you should just keep trying, hard decision to make I know?

It didn't, in fact it didn't say anything about the style of entry, because it was open to all entries. I think there are a few witty entries and quite a few GREAT, serious ones.

No offense guys but it seems everyone complaining in this thread are active members on bjorn3d or 3dgameman (yes I have all the threads). I am not sure what to say to that.

Do you think it would be possible if this thread didn't end up some kind of bitchfest against the winners? I mean our idea was to let people choose the winner this time which I thought was cool and a first really. Next time maybe we should just choose it ourselves behind closed doors.

Great to see our regulars holding the DH flag high as always though!

Thanks for understanding.Yes, i'll keep trying but donno how long will i be able to stay optimistic.I know sir, i post mostly in the contest threads but i'll try to be active in other parts of the forums too.

Regarding to what was said before:
In the contest description there was the following line:
"If you need some stimulation then be sure to check out our interview with Christofer Strasz, Lead Functionality and UI Designer and follow this up with a read of our Tabula Rasa review which we published a short while ago."

From this we understand that the character,or monster we have to describe must be linked to the game theme and maybe included in the game future updates.Is this true or not?The contest description was not written by me,it is copy paste from the original.
I am not against the winners at all,but the thing is the contest description was not right or the voting was not quite right.
Can someone please explain to us what happened?

We are not complaining about the winners,we only want to know how the voting was made and why.
I state again...I am not against the winners.

wow really you guys need to stop complaining. If you come here just for competitions from other sites then do you really think you have the right to be complaining about everything? Most of the regulars here, enter, if they lose they get on with it, if they win its a bonus. Seems some of you expect to win for some reason.

Also sushrukh this whole sympathy thing just doesn't gel with me, you say you have a lot of kids and have no money, have you ever heard of contraception man? I know a guy who has a lot of hardware but his wife can't get pregnant and he is miserable because he wants a son.

Maybe we could do a swap over on the black market? he gives you his PC for one of the kids you don't like.

Anyway I voted for yayitsandrew, I think his creature would work great in the game.

Have you actually READ the winners? there is ONE funny one (the first one in this list), ALL the rest seem pretty serious to me, well as serious as describing a fantasy monster could be.

You guys really just need to get back to your site, because you all sound like a bunch of little girls.

Zardon. Ban coolzone and sushrukh. they are on other sites bitching about this competition and they have no interest in this site at all, they are just here to try and get freebies because they think they "deserve" it for their lame ass entries.

As for werty. the guy should also be removed from this, he has about 5 other forum threads asking people to vote for him. How the hell is this fair? a DH regular should get this prize.
