currently playing Aion and Battlefield2142 (impatiently waiting for Battlefield 3). I did buy a pair of Sennheiser PC 350 headset for gaming and I hated them. They sounded horrible, especially for the money I paid. So I gave them away to my brother in law and currently looking to buy another set. It's either these or a pair of Sony MDX700LP and an external mic.

I always play 4 games, counter strike, WOW, nfs:mw and cod4. and today i was playing left 4 dead which doesn't seems to get over.

i just want them thats it, want to change my old ones , they have gone broken, foam gone missing, and it pains in the ears , i would prefer anything to the current ones i have, atleast they'll be less pain on the ears. and yes offcourse gaming inside house and on the go.

Another thing is i love experimenting with new products.

I am currently playing COD:WAW, FC2, Crysis, HL2:EP1&2, and WiC. I can only squeeze gaming in after my 2-year daughter goes to bed which means I am always using headphones. My current cheapy headphones don't have the best sound and definately don't make you feel like you are part of the action like a set of Razer headphones.

If we're talking portables, I'm currently playing Dissidia Final Fantasy on my PSP (my avatar is Warrior of Light, my favorite character from the game), and I can say that the soundtrack is AMAZING, not even a single tune that I don't like... I could use these headphones for Call of Duty 4, which I'm currently playing in anticipation of Modern Warfare 2 (!). My PC is in the TV room, and TV sound has priority over PC sound in this family. So whenever I try to get sucked into the game, I usually can't, because I have to turn the volume to a whisper for my sisters who are watching either Gossip Girl or Sex and the City. That sucks right?
That's why these exterior noise cancelling headphones could improve my life.

I mainly play CS:S, TF2, L4D, and recently started Mirror's Edge. Looking forward to Assassins Creed 2 and Splinter Cell Conviction. The headphones would be phenomenal for helping me pinpoint where sounds are coming from, better than my 8 year old headphones and speakers. Also it'd be good for my DS, where I play Taiko no Tatsujin, Mario Kart, Elite Beat Agents, and Ninjatown. The headset would definitely make international flights more bearable too.

As to why I need these its really simple. The one thing I can't avoid because I like full sound and use Vent alot to here my mates when we RvR is "Spouse Aggro" over the noise of my games. These guys might just save my life LOL

Not to mention the constant nagging of being asked why my Caster is always yelling Yo Sombrero hehe
