I have a beautiful home, a happy healthy newborn son, a wife that still gets me all hot & bothered, a high paying programmer job with good benifits and I'm on course for my planned retirement at 55.

But what I don't have is this card.

I deserve this card because I still own a single core, low-to-mid level graphics card, 'gaming' computer.

I built this computer on 300 dollars and a dream. It accomplished this dream, but as you can see by the slim budget (which, by the way, was the only money I had, and has had for about a year (it's very tight)) the computer came out to be mediocre, at best.

With this card my gaming experience will be jump-started, as my GPU(s) will be the best there is.

With this card I won't be forced to fall into console gaming, which as all of us computer lovers know, has nothing on computer gaming. Nothing can top it, and it's a hobby we all love.

I think i deserve this card because it would help me out alot...
Im pretty much a disabled person who made bad choices in life and now i pretty much dont have much of a life at all. all i do is play games and work on computers when someone has a problem or somethin.. not trying to give a sob story or anything.. i have an 8800gts 320 that works perfectly fine. although it could be better based on the games i play.. i dont have a job.. i have a small source of income so i have to really plan out upgrades long long long ahead of time when i do them. at the end of the month after rent bills etc i barely have enough money to play for my gaming subscriptions. heck if i won i wouldnt mind donating my 8800gts 320 to someone else because i would have no use for it.. im not out for money i just want to enjoy life to the fullest day by day and die happy..

im not saying i deserve the card because im disabled. i deserve the card because it would help.. i just was telling a little bit about myself.. and yeah the card i currently has runs all mmo's great.. except for the main one i play and that is vangaurd.. so how about it?

I need this card because my GeForce 6600/Athlon XP can't seem to do hi-def MPEGs. With a video card like this, I could afford to update my motherboard, and then I could read the other hardware/game reviews on DriverHeaven.net with more interest, rather than just saying to myself, "Wow! That test system is only 100 times faster than my current system - whoopie! - the last one was 200 times faster."

Why i need this card? cause since i play playstation 1 games, i almost never use my computer to play games. I just hate computer games so much because its need to upgrade video card everytime new games come out. So i don't think this card will last like playstation 1 or 2 or even 3 (around 5-7 years). but if this card can prove me wrong, i think i'll give it a shot. Peace.........

Well I would like to win this card for my sons. I am hoping to build them a more current rig to share for gaming. They are still the running the socket A barton 2800's I built each of them ages ago.

It is difficult to do, as am disabled and exist on a modest monthly disabilty stipend. Winng this card for them would be a major assist indeed. A friend well more of an acquaintance really has a FX 57 and ASUS A8N32-Sli Deluxe imothballed he would work with me on. But that is already dated, winning the card would make it possible for me to save a bit and get them in on a 775, ddr2 which woud allow for future improvemnts as opposed to the pretty much obsolete nowhere to go sock 939.

Being a long distance dad due to economic circumstance, don't get to see them much, nor due to economics do anything near what I wished I could for them.

Surpising them with a current rig they could play Oblivion, Crysis etc on..would make their day, as well as mine watching them have their day made haha.

And to be honest when it comes to considering a nvidia partner for a gpu. Zotac is not one that comes to mind, xfx, bfg, evga, gainward when still available in the US, etc...yes..so winning the card would go a long way in adding Zotac as a brand to consider...not the winning itself, but rather using it, seeing how it performs, holds up, overclocks, how good the support is and so on. As for me Zotac is an unknown quantity, thus would be inclined to gravitate to a known rather than taking a chance.

I was minding my own business doing what I always do on a Friday night; surfing the net and longing for the glory days of high end gaming. That's when she walked by. I had heard about her like everyone else, but never imagined she could be so . . . breathtaking. I gazed at the way the graphics on her heat spreader glowed. I saw the way the svelte lines of her encased heatsink blended into a form of pure beauty. Even her fan had a sparkle as it spun.

I fell in love at that moment. I knew she could give me experiences I'd only dreamed of. With her 28 unified shader processors, 64 texturing processors and 16 ROPs, I knew we'd be viewing life at high FPS anywhere we chose to go. The Zotac Geforce 9800 GTX was everything I’d been missing in my life. As she passed my table at the internet café, I quivered with excitement. With her, I could again fly, nimbly gliding across 3D landscapes I thought I’d never see again. With her, I could ride the unimaginable distances between worlds, gliding at awesome framerates from game to game.

I stood up to introduce myself only to come face to face with HIM. My nemesis, Bill. I should have known she’d be with him. He always did have a way with the girls. He always had to have the best, and always made sure I knew it, too. I bet he only brought her here to gloat. He always did have the dough to treat ‘em right. I knew then that I’d never have a chance to be with a card like her. She’s the type to go where the money is and that ain’t with me.

Now I spend my nights dreaming of what it would have been like to dance with that lovely lady and my days knowing I can never live in her sweet embrace.
