Zalman ZM-DS4F

The Zalman ZM-DS4F box has a large window through which we can see the product and there are various specifications and marketing sections on the front and rear which give full information on the speakers. There is not much of a bundle here with only a small manual included but the really is not any need for extras.

The ZM-DS4F feature a 3.5 mm stereo jack which will connect to any standard MP3 player or PC soundcard and like the RS6F on the previous page these headphones also have a folding/extendable headband. Due to the small size of the headset it is very light and weighs only 124g. The cord on this product is 1.5m long and enters both the left and right earpiece directly. Each earpiece features a foam pad for comfort but they sit on the ear rather than encasing it. Inside the foam and fabric are the speakers, each earpiece features two speakers, a 28mm tweeter and a 40mm woofer. The specifications provided by Zalman tell us that the headset has a frequency response of 50Hz to 20 kHz with 103dB of sound pressure at 1 kHz. The nominal power is 10mW with a maximum rating of 50mW. Finally impedance is rated at 32Ohm for both the woofer and tweeter at 1 kHz.
