The
Zalman CNPS8000 Heatsink and fan comes in a sleek
package with a see through window.
It
has all relevant information about the Heatsink
printed on the box.
It
even has a carrying strap on the top of the package.
Here
you can see the CNPS8000 taken out of its box
along with the accessories and mounting hardware.
It comes with an easy to understand manual, some
thermal paste, fan mate 2 and a Zalman sticker.
In
this picture you can see the four heatpipes on
the Heatsink, and the fan frame has “Zalman”
cut into it, which is certainly a nice touch.
Here
is a side shot of the CNPS8000 where you can see
the heatpipes going through the aluminium fins,
which makes a total Dissipation Area of 2815cm2.
And
here’s a shot of the 92mm fan mounted on
the CNPS8000.
The
base of the Zalman CNPS8000 is fairly well machined,
it isn’t a mirror polish but is smooth enough
to do the job, and I scratched my nail on the
base and didn’t feel any machine marks.
So it should make good enough contact to the processor
when fitted.
