The CNPS9500 AM2 comes in a green box with a see through window just like the CNPS8000 did. It also has the box printed with all the information about the product you would need.

This is the bundle you get with the cooler, mounting hardware, thermal paste, Zalman sticker, Fan mate 2 and an easy to comprehend manual.

The Zalman CNPS9500 AM2 comes recommended by nvidia to be used with their latest chipsets, and therefore it has an nvidia sticker on the fan.

The 9500 uses ultra slim anodized copper fins (only 0.2mm thick) with a dissipation area of 3698 cm2. You can also get a glimpse of the curved heatpipe design for a heat transfer capacity of up to six heatpipes with the use of only three heatpipes.

A side view of the CNPS9500.

And a shot of the 92mm fan Zalman uses on this heatsink, you can see that it is a 12v fan that takes 0.35A and has a 2-ball bearing.

The base of the CNPS9500 AM2 is the best polished base I’ve ever encountered when working with HSF’s. This kind of shine, have I only seen when spending hours lapping my self, and rarely then. Amazing craftsmanship!

Look at the shine…
