Here we can see the detailed
differences in read and write results between each drive
using various block sizes. As we can see, the Samsung SpinPoint
HD160JJ is nearly victorious is all tests once again, and
is flawless against its competitors in write speeds.

Like the others, these testes were run twice
and the lowest results are shown. The program’s 32MB

From hard drive to hard
drive, the HD Tach test results are the most consistent
in this review. The 160 GB Western Digital Caviar SE SATA
hard drive just slightly ekes out a win against the SpinPoint
HD160JJ. While the 40GB Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 8 bested
the others in both random access speed and CPU utilization.
