Software/Setup: Installing the SB Live 24bit USB was a breeze, just plug in the usb cable and insert the driver CD. After a few seconds your presented with the autorun prompt which allows you to begin the driver/software installation…
After selecting the install options on the above screen the installation wizard kicks off and you are first able to configure your installation of the drivers and software essentials. We installed all software and the process was as smooth as could be hoped for.
The final part of the initial install is the speaker configuration which appears on screen as follows:
Following the completion of the initial install the Media Source installer kicks in and again is fully configurable.
Following the media source installation which took about 5mins (total install time is closer to 10mins) on our Athlon64 3200+ system your presented by the exit screen and your SB Live 24bit USB is installed and ready to go.
