Valve continues to impress us with additions to their Source engine and the latest episode in the Half-Life 2 franchise adds excellent outdoor environments. Testing was performed at 1920x1200 with 4x anti-aliasing and 16x anisotropic filtering.
The advantages of using Sapphires enhanced speeds are immediately clear when we look at Half-Life 2 performance. The Atomic card is six frames per second ahead of the stock model when we look at average frames per second and just as impressively the minimum frames per second are also much higher.
