Conclusion:
All
in all, these are great modules and at just under
£150 for a two gigabyte package they are
also really good value for money. This kit with
2T timings will outperform anything I have used
to this point. That said, if I was running them
at 1150mhz+ I would most certainly invest
in a 92mm or 120 mm fan mounted on a Zalman swinging
arm, placed over the modules as they can tend
to get a little hot. It is a shame OCZ haven't
decided to supply a system similar to Corsair's
Airflow as it really does help keep the modules
cool.
Which
brings me onto a very important point, the Reaper
HPC cooling system ... while there is no denying
it looks substantial, as a cooling solution it
is rather inadequate if you are pushing the modules
right to their limits. With our diode we recorded
temperatures 3-4c higher than competiting products
even when they were all air cooled.
Taking
everything into consideration, especially the
extremely competitive price, they come highly
recommended and will quite confidently power a
high end gaming system for some time to come.

What do these awards
mean?
They
retail at a reasonable £150 (inc vat), however
at time of publication Overclockers
UK have them on offer for
an incredible £123.36 inc VAT!
