In
terms of bundle In Win don’t break any boundaries
here, just the essentials are included and really
that is all that is needed. We have a set of screws
for motherboard installation, a small manual and
a power cable.
Before
looking at how the case is when everything is
fully installed there are a few other interesting
aspects of the unit. The first is the tool free
drive bays. The round green plastic objects shown
below replace the more traditional screw which
holds drives in place. Each green button can be
pulled out slightly and then when the drive is
in place the button is pushed back into place
and inserts into the screw-holes. The next feature
of the case is front panel removal. Again it’s
a well designed aspect of the case, pull the lever
at the front of the case and the panel pops off
to be lifted away. Finally the PCI/PCI-e/AGP cards
don’t require screws to hold them in place.
Instead we have a plastic clamp which takes away
the need for any tools in everyday use.

Once
the components are all assembled its useful to
see just how cramped or spacious the case is in
full use. Shown below is the system with all components
installed and things are looking pretty good.
There is ample space around the motherboard and
plenty of room to tuck cables away to enhance
airflow.
For
those reading who want to know a little bit more
about the case here is a link to the product page
on In Win’s site, we have taken a note of
the exact specifications from there and they are
shown below.

Conclusion
Being
reviewers we spend a lot of time inside PC chassis
and regularly this is one of the aspects of a
build which is the most infuriating. Whether it
be badly placed drive bays or awkward front panel
removal there is rarely a smooth and issue free
install. In Win have clearly put a lot of thought
into the design of the Alpha360 and it was a real
pleasure to use the case. A number of times when
doing our first install there were oohs and ah’s
as we found another unique feature useful and
more than a few “hey come look at this”
moments as we discussed with others just how useful
a feature was. There really isn’t anything
we can say to be negative about this case and
so for anyone looking for a simple, issue free
install using a Micro-ATX motherboard we can highly
recommend the In Win Alpha360. The Icing on the
cake is the extremely modest price of around $75.
