Conclusion

The Enermax Noisetaker is a very impressive supply. From the moment we first looked at the box it was apparent that this is a quality product and these thoughts were confirmed once the PSU was removed and inspected. The level of information given on the packaging and labels is second to none and the gold grills with blue metallic paint effect look great.

The main feature that sets the Noisetaker apart from other high end units is the temperature reducing fan control. As stated earlier in the article the fans on this unit run for a short time after the system is powered down. As well as the benefits to the cooling of the internal components this also has a knock on effect to system component temperatures as hot air is exhausted through the PSU after shut-down.

The above feature would be useless however if the performance of the unit was sub par. Thankfully this isn't the case and the voltages provided by the Enermax Noisetaker are excellent. When viewing our graphs it should be noted that each result was taken when our exceptionally high end system (overvolted) was running under load with the highest specification components stressed to their limits as well as having as many additional power draining components attached as possible. A real worst case scenario. Under these conditions the Noisetaker's performance is all the more impressive .

Summary
Enermax's Noisetaker 600w PSU is so good it has been chosen to power one of Driver Heavens main review systems where performance and reliability are a necessity.
