Back in May 2004 we took our first look at a waterchill
product from Asetek. Overall we were happy with the kit,
its ease of assembly and even more happy with its fantastic
performance. Asetek being innovators haven’t stood
still in the past few months, they have been hard at work
tweaking and improving the design of their system and so
today we’re taking a look at the new improved Waterchill.
The Packaging:
The Waterchill product in for review today is the KT12A-L30
which comes well packaged in the colourful Waterchill
box.

The box contains all of the components
you require wrapped in a good amount of foam. Also included
in the bundle is a free baseball cap and “lanyard”
or ID pass holder. As far as packaging the components
are well protected by the foam, the only improvement we
could think of is the foam being cut so that the components
fit into the foam rather than between it.
Whats Included…:
The following components are included in the KT12A-L30

On the component front the main difference
from the kit we reviewed last year is that the radiator
used has three 120mm fans and the tubing is 10mm rather
than ½ inch. There are a few minor tweaks we shall
look at in a moment.
