The
Bios
The
vast majority of the time motherboards come with
a “standard bios” – one we are
all used to seeing, however the AN9 is a little
different as it features Abit's uGuru screens.
These screens allow configuration and monitoring
of many aspects of the system. The screens below
show some of the detail available.
With
the latest BIOS all of the major settings are
available to end users such as memory and CPU
voltage, memory timings and HTT speeds. Additionally
EPP is supported in this bios along with full
support for the latest Nvidia GX2 graphics cards.
Abit
Software
Abit's
bios isn’t the only place where monitoring
of the systems properties occurs, also provided
on the software CD is Abit’s uGuru utility.
This allows easy monitoring of fan speeds, voltages
and temperatures as well as Windows based overclocking.
The
utility is well laid out and easy to use, exactly
as it should be.
