The X700XT comes clocked at 475 core and 525/1050 memory and has a 128 bit memory interface.

The X700XT comes in the familar ATI Red flavour and is a more attractive option to the X600 we reviewed a while ago, which lets face it was pretty ugly. The X700XT has a more substantial cooler made from copper and the top surface has a pretty "chrome" look, unfortunately the fan is small, insubstantial and louder than most ATI designs, I will deal with this and my findings in more detail later in the overclocking section. But for now lets just say initial impressions are not wonderful.

Another efficient single slot design from ATI and unlike its bigger brother the X800XT, requires no power feed from a molex feed.

Above, the standard rear outputs from ATI allowing dual monitor support with DVI connector or dual CRT with the supplied adapter. IQ quality is from a dual 400mhz Digital to analog converter.

As you can see from the pictures above the X700XT is slightly smaller than the X800XT board, very efficient engineering and certainly the cards of choice for those computing with small form factor.
