In our first test we can see there is a rather significant difference in performance between the two cards. The X850 really loves the Colin McRae Rally engine and breezes through every test, even at maximum detail. With this being our first look at a 6800 on PCI-express it’s also worth commenting on the stuttering we’ve seen in this game on AGP 6800’s. For the most part the stuttering has gone however there were a few stutters along the way and so it’s not quite perfect yet, if you’re a big CMR fan then you’ll want to put a Radeon at the top of your shopping list.
