Packaging and bundle
The Ultra X3 1.6kW unit arrives in a cubic style black box, similar to the one protecting all of the X3 series units. The design of the packaging is simple but the box is sturdy and the unit is held between two thick Styrofoam pieces, making it virtually impervious to damage despite its great weight. By opening the top part of the packaging you can see a picture of the unit, its basic specifications and some of the provided cables.
The Ultra X3 1.6kW unit is supplied with a plethora of cables. In order to increase the versatility of the X3, the cables have a variable number of connectors on each. Additionally, some connectors are longer than others. All of the cables feature the Flexforce technology, every individual cable of every connector is attached to the one next to it, creating a single cable per connector rather than a bunch. This way the cables are more flexible than sleeved cables while they are still aesthetically appealing. All of the cables and connectors are black. The number of the cables you will find in the package can be seen in the table below:

You can only use the included power cords with the X3 1.6kW unit, a regular PSU and monitor power cord will not work. Ultra provides two power cords, a normal US 110V cord and a NEMA US 20A 110V power cord. The normal power cord has a circuit breaker attached to it which will shut the unit down if the amperage exceeds the 15A AC that the cable can handle. You will need to use the NEMA 5-20R cable and a proper outlet to allow the unit to reach its full potential.
