The Insides of the PSU:

DO NOT DO THIS AT HOME! Removing the case cover will definitely void any warranty AND it’s also potentially quite dangerous. The PSU can hold a potentially fatal electric charge for long periods of time even after not being plugged into a power source. If, for any reason you do decide to check out the innards, be sure to discharge the unit prior to removing the cover. To do so, while it’s still in the computer and everything’s connected, simply pull out the main power plug and then press the ON switch for the computer. There should follow a very brief indication of fans spinning. This small detail will help you realize that the PSU has been discharged properly.

Let’s now look at the interior of this PSU:

Notice first of all that there are two large heatsinks running nearly the full length of the unit and located so that they receive the full benefit airflow created by the two fans.

In this image I want you to see how compactly the wiring is done. It’s also mostly located to one side of the unit’s interior.

And, finally, the opposite side showing just how compacted the unit is put together. It’s no wonder that ULTRA has placed two fans on the unit to aid with sufficient cooling.
