ULTRA needs to update the packaging and manuals to correct the error in mentioning the missing 4 Pin +12V Motherboard Connector. Some inexperienced users may not be aware that the 8 PIN connector can be separated for use as the 4 PIN +12V Motherboard Connector.

“After Spin Technology”:

ULTRA has added a new feature recently in their PSUs: AST Technology. This is “After Spin Technology” and it’s designed to control the speed of cooling fans and to provide for continued spinning fans for a few moments after a system shutdown. The purpose is to provide proper and steady cooling of components in an effort to extend the life of these components. It’s a technology I feel is long overdue and very welcome.
