Final words and conclusion

The Vanessa series from Titan are certainly very competitive. First of all, they are amongst a handful of coolers that can be mounted on any currently available socket, even on the older Socket A. They also look very well and will aesthetically enhance your system. Their fans are adjustable by a rheostat, which you can choose to mount on a PCI slot or in a 3.5” bay. Finally, performance is very good, but when the coolers are running silent, it is also nothing special. And of course they are not flawless. The size of the coolers, especially the monstrous size of the L-Type, can be a problem for many systems. I doubt that any of the two can fit inside older or small ATX tower cases, let alone a desktop case. The price they retail for is not high for what you will receive, but it is not what can be considered as low either. I would say that it is simply reasonable. So let us sum up:

Pros:

• Good performance
• Both can be extremely quiet
• Both can be mounted on every available socket at the time
• A lot of attention was given on the aesthetics
• Both include a fan controller

Cons:

• The large sizes an create compatibility problems

Taking the above into consideration, I believe that the Vanessa coolers are worthy of our Heavenly Hardware Silver Award. They simply offer a nice pack of features and good performance for a reasonable price.

Vanessa L-Type
Price: $69 MSRP

Vanessa S-type
