Packaging and the modules

The plastic packaging of the SuperTalent DDR3 modules looks very simple and is very common for RAM modules. Simplicity is not a bad thing, as the only thing an enthusiast cares about is the product inside it. The small weight of the modules has them needing little protection during shipping, but they won’t be able to withstand heavy abuse in that kind of package.



If it wasn’t for the heatspreader, the SuperTalent DDR3 modules could be mistaken for ordinary OEM RAM modules because of their green PCB. The black heatspreaders add a lot to their appeal and instantly betray their enthusiast market orientation. At the front side of the module the large chrome letters form the company logo all across the heatspreader. There is no logo at the rear of the module, only a sticker with the part number of the kit and the basic specifications of the modules.
