Packaging and Bundle
The HPC-1200 is well protected by a cardboard box and thick soft Styrofoam pieces. Inside the box you will find a very basic manual and a smaller box containing the modular cables and the AC power cable of the unit.
The Unit
Usual for units with a total output of above 1kW nowadays, the HPC-1200 is considerably longer than a standard ATX unit. You best make sure that you have a case with enough space to accommodate it. The unit chassis is painted titanium grey and most of the components such as the fan grills and the switch are black.
For cooling the HPC-1200 has two fans installed, a large 135mm fan is installed at the bottom of the unit while a smaller 80mm fan is placed at the rear of the unit, working as an exhaust. The fans are made by Globe, a manufacturer commonly seen on PSU cooling fans. Beside the 80mm fan, only a rocker on/off switch can be found at the rear of the unit. At the front of the unit the native cables and the connectors of the modular cables can be found. Strange thing is that there are enough native cables to cover the needs of most users without using the modular cables at all. All of the cables are sleeved and all of the connectors are black, save for the modular PCIe connectors which are red.

Sirtec have been very careful when choosing the components for this unit. The capacitors are made by Rubycon, a manufacturer well known among enthusiasts and are all rated to 105c operation. The heatsinks might not appear very large given the extreme power output of the unit but the high fin density makes sure that there is more than enough heat dissipation surface. The secondary heatsinks could be a bit improved though as they are nothing more than a slab of metal with no fins at all. Furthermore the unit is cooled by two fans which should provide more than enough airflow to keep things running cool and stable. There are three major transformers which we expected to see given the length of the unit.
