The Bios

The BIOS of the C51XEM2AA provides more than the average amount of tweaking options for the hardcore users to fiddle with. There are three full pages for RAM and chipset timings alone! We found nice that the BIOS indicates the current value of each setting right next to it, so you can know the values of each setting if you left the option to Auto and adjust accordingly.

The voltage monitoring and adjustments in the C51XEM2AA BIOS are excellent. There are voltage sensors on most lines, but curiously, there is no sensor for the 12V line. There are readings for the memory voltage, MCP and SPP voltages, even the HT voltage line. The CPU and RAM voltage adjustment ranges are appalling, 0.375V to 1.85V and 1.8V to 2.5V respectively! You can also adjust the HT voltages, the SPP and MCP voltages, and even the Auxiliary voltage +0.2V above the stock setting.
