Externals:
Here’s a shot of
the front of the Dragon, It has a swinging door
that is made of plastic and aluminium. The aluminium
plate was pretty thick (~3mm) so it has a high
quality feel to it. It locks with quite a strong
magnet, nice touch. The dragon figure and text
you see will light up when everything is assembled,
which you will notice later on in the review.

Here’s
the Dragon with the front door open, revealing
four 5.25” slots and two 3.5” slots.

On the
lower part of the front you can see the air intake
for the front fan, and the front display that
will be covered later.

If we move
up we find the I/O connectors under a little hatch
that pops open when pressed upon. It has the most
common connectors, mic, headphone dual USB and
a firewire connection.
Here’s a side shot
of the XG Dragon. It has a nicely shaped acrylic
window attached to it with an etching of the dragon
logo. It also has a duct for the CPU, and some
vents in the video card area to aid cooling. In
this picture we have the top handle which can
be very convenient for those of you who go to
LAN parties, or move your system around on a regular
basis. I also noticed that the external paintjob
on the Dragon was very good; it almost had a mirror
shine to it.

Here’s
the right side, not much to say about it more
then it has a rather nice profile.

And a photo
of the back

The feet
on the dragon are of a type that is getting more
and more common amongst case manufacturers,
you can fold them out for more stability.
