The product I have received for review is the DXG 506V Digital Camcorder. It is a very compact unit about the size of a bar of bath soap. It easily fits in one hand and, for the most part, can be operated single-handedly once the viewer is opened and in position.

The colour we have is black/silver but the 506V is available in other color combinations: Silver/Silver; Blue/Silver; and Pink/Silver. I much prefer the color combination received, as it’s very attractive as the tones contrast one another.

What surprised me about this 506V is that it’s not just a Digital Camcorder. It’s also a Still Camera, a MP3 player, Voice Recorder, PC Camera, and can be used as a Mass Storage device. That’s quite a lot to pack into such a small component!
