INTRODUCTION:

Founded over a decade ago, CoolerMaster has one main mission: “… providing the industry's best thermal solutions. Since its establishment a decade ago, the company has remained faithful to this mission, emerging as a world leader in products and services for companies dealing with devices where heat issues must be resolved.” (Quoted from the official website’s mission statement.)

Recently, I was asked to pick up some discontinued PCs from a local law firm. These PCs dated back to the days of the Pentium II. I was surprised to see that the CPU cooling fans used were CoolerMaster brand. This gives us an idea of just how long they’ve been around and how popular they are.

CoolerMaster manufactures many different products to help in the task of keeping things cool: CPU coolers, VGA coolers, and well-vented PC cases are just a few of them.

COOLERMASTER MYSTIQUE 632:

Today, we want to take a look at one of the most recently developed cases: The CoolerMaster Mystique 632. The case arrived in its original box and was well protected by Styrofoam packing.

Once the box was opened and the case removed from the Styrofoam, I was greeted with a sleek black case with a unique design I’d never seen before:

FEATURES:

Let’s take a look at the new and unique features:

1. Front CoolerMaster LCD Logo
2. Mechanically controlled split sliding doors
3. Top Mounted On/Off and Reset buttons
4. Top Mounted I/O connections for USB/Audio/Firewire
5. Easy Lock handle for side Cover
6. Tool-free mounting brackets for HDDs and CD/DVD drives
7. Rear Access Mounting holes for water-cooled systems
8. Two 120 mm Fans at front and rear

9. Space for one 120 mm Fan on Side Case Cover – not supplied

Doors slide to each side for access to Drive Bays

ON/OFF, Reset buttons, and I/O connections are on top

The Easy Lock handle allows for quick release and removal of the side case cover

Tool Free mounting brackets for HDDs and CD/DVD drives

Notice the two grommets at the side of the PSU location. These are for water-cooled systems that need external mounting of the fans and radiator.
