Installation
I am sure you have experienced a scenario when you bring home a cooler to find you have to remove the motherboard to mount it! It makes an install which should last about five minutes to one which could take a couple of hours.
Thankfully Asus have kept the customer experience in mind when designing the Triton and on both AMD and Intel motherboards the cooler installs on the top of the CPU using the existing holes/brackets. As a result adding this product is no more complicated than installing a reference cooler from either processor manufacturer.
There are two small steps which have to be undertaken before installing the Triton 75 and that is the attachment of the chosen fan and clips. This takes seconds and is a case of laying the fan on the top of the heatsink and clipping it into place with the two thin wire clamps. In the case of an Intel system, screwing the two motherboard clips in place is required. Shown below is the completed install.
