Installation:

On the right side of the SOLO there is a little apartment that comes in handy to tuck away excessive cables , which is very helpful when optimising airflow.

Installing the hardware in to the Antec SOLO went very smooth without any annoyances. Here you see that I chose to install the HDD using the textile rubber suspension mount.

In this shot you see everything assembled and ready for first power up, I chose to install my HTPC into the SOLO, it does look very tidy thanks to that little compartment on the side of the chassis where all the excessive cables went.

To our delight everything booted up just fine and with the tri-cool fan set to low speed I was nothing less than amazed as to how quiet the SOLO is. The hard drive was barely audible while booting to Windows MCE so the suspension mount really works as it was intended.

And here in the final shot with everything up and running, I finally managed to get a better shot of the “shininess” of the SOLO. It does fit in quite nicely with my Samsung LCD.
