The internals:

In order to get into the P182 SE you have to release two thumbscrews

Antec has opted to go for an entirely black interior which I know many end-users will be very happy with, in my opinion it just looks a lot better than the regular “raw” metal colour which is so commonplace.

Here you can see two of the three 120mm Tri-Cool fans supplied with the case.
Back exhaust…

Top Exhaust...

Here’s another detail that we believe many will appreciate; Antec has supplied a built in snakelight which can be very convenient when wanting to do some quick adjustments to your configuration, especially in a darker room.

The expansion slot covers are made in steel which has been cut to help in case ventilation when not occupied by expansion cards. It would have been nice to see thumb screws here though. You also get another glimpse of the rubber grommet holes cut for water cooling tubes.

The P182 SE has room for up to four 5.25” devices in the upper compartment, plus two silicon cushioned HDD slots and an extra 3.5” to use with a floppy or any other devise fitting in it.

Here we have moved down to the lower compartment showing a picture of the third supplied Tri-Cool fan, which is placed between the Power Supply Unit and the lower HDD rack, designed to draw air over the HDD’s and pushing it to the PSU to help keep them cool.

In order to get to the lower HDD rack you just release a thumbscrew and pull it out, the same goes for the upper HDD rack.

Here is both HDD racks removed from the P182 SE; the white box to the left is the accessory box which we will cover later.

The upper HDD rack has a nifty little plastic box built on to its back, this can be very convenient to use as storage for all the extra screws and bits.

Here’s what you get in the white accessory box supplied with the P182 SE: mounting rails for the 5.25” devices, cable ties, and the top “spoiler” covering the top mounted exhaust fan. Various screws for motherboard, HDD’s etc. Plus a micro fibre cloth to keep the shiny stainless steel sides and front free from finger prints and dirt in general.
