Installation

Installing the Akasa Revo on your processor is extremely easy and does not even require you to remove the motherboard from your case. The included mounting brackets clip on the motherboard directly the same way a stock cooler does. Once the mounting bracket is installed, you apply a thin layer of thermal paste on your processor and place the cooler on it, using the two metal clips of the bracket to secure it. Quick and painless.

You should make sure however that the cooler will be facing upwards (fan at the bottom) when the motherboard is installed inside the case. The design of the cooler will NOT allow it to work flawlessly if it is not placed properly or if your motherboard is placed horizontally (HTPC cases).
