PCMark 2002 was released
a couple of years ago by Madonion (now Futuremark) the makers of 3DMark.
It allows users to benchmark their Hard Drive, Memory and Processor
under a variety of tests which are designed to show how the system
will perform in home and office tasks.
CPU and Hard Drive scores for the 3 systems are very close, the real world differences wouldn’t be noticeable based on those results however the Athlon FX-51 really begins to show its potential in memory tests, DDR333 is a reasonable margin above the P4 system using DDR400 however the Athlon64 FX-51 mixed with memory running at DDR400 shows a huge advantage over both systems. 10695 is an excellent score which would show real advantages over the P4 system in real world applications that rely on memory bandwidth.
