N-Bench was recently released by AMD, we have used it to compare the AMD performance figures and have removed the Intel results.

 

 

Nbench shows the Athlon 64 and Opteron performing almost exactly the same. The Athlon XP is able to perform to the same level in Integer 1, falls behind in Integer 2 however pulls ahead in Float 1 and Float 2. The Athlon Fx-51 however is well ahead in all tests and has a final performance score which is 300 points higher than the closest competitor, the Opteron 146.
