Introduction

Recently I was given the chance by Harry Yen of ABIT to review their top graphics card, the 5900 Siluro FX. The 5900 Siluro is ABIT’s latest foray into today’s leading edge computer components. Let’s take the ABIT Siluro FX through a Driverheaven Review.

First the 5900 Siluro FX details:
Processor Nvidia Geforce FX 5900
Engine Clock 400 + MHZ
Frame Buffer 128 MB
Memory Type 4M*32 128MB DDR Video Memory
Memory Clock 850Mhz
Bandwidth 300 million vertices/sec. Up to 533 million transfers/sec. Data
RAMDAC 400MHZ
AGP 8X

Other 5900 Siluro Specs:
OTES Cooling Solution
nView Technology
Digital Vibrance Control-(DVC)3.0
Advanced Display Pipeline with Full NView™ Capabilities
NVIDIA CineFX™ 2.0 Engine
Intellisample HCT Performance Technology
UltraShadow Technology

Included with the Siluro FX:
Siluro FX5900 OTES 128MB 3D Graphics Accelerator Card
CD Driver & SiluroDVD 4 Software
Siluro Software Album CD: Soldier Fortune II Demo / WindowBlinds NV Edition / Earthviewer 3D Demo
Adapter for S-Video & RCA TV-out Cable
Composite (RCA) Cable
S-Video Extended Cable
Extra 4-pin Power Cable
DVI to D-Sub Adapter

A well rounded but no nonsense bundle is included with this card. It may not be as loaded up as some other card makers but then again most of the software that comes in a bundle is useless and usually only adds to the price.
