Our final gaming test in this review focuses on Crytek’s Crysis. This game is without doubt one of the most anticipated games of all time and having played through the demo a few times we can say that there are some extremely impressive visuals.

With a huge level of detail on screen at all times it is no surprise that the 8800 GT’s and 2900 series do not give us playable framerates at a midrange resolution. Looking at the comparison between all of the cards we see that performance is very close between all six products. The Zotac is ahead of the pack as it has been throughout the review but there is less of a difference when comparing the other GT’s with the MSI, Asus and XFX only a few frames per second behind. The battle between 8800 and 2900 once again goes to the Nvidia based cards with the slowest GT still outperforming the fastest ATI part.
