PowerColor Bravo X700
The Powercolor X700 comes in a more subdued box than
the norm, The plain blue scheme certainly wouldn’t
attract your eye next to other brands on the shelf. What
you do get from the box though is all the information
you should require in order to understand what exactly
the card does, and just as importantly what the bundle
includes.

On the game side of things you don’t
get anywhere near as much as the MSI bundle, however the
one game that Powercolor do provide is also pretty good.
With this card its Hitman:Contracts.
Utility-wise you get Cyberlinks DVD solutions CD as well
as the usual drivers.

Cables and connectors with the Bravo
X700 include HDTV cables, S-video and composite video
as well as 2 DVI-VGA connectors which means the card has
everything you would need.
This card features dual DVI which definitely
isn’t standard practice for most mainstream cards
and is a real plus for those of you running a high quality
digital TFT monitor. Secondly the card features a silent
heat pipe cooling system.

Clocks on the Bravo are 400/532mhz and
the memory used is Samsung DDR2 rated up to 266mhz, i.e.
right on the limit of the cards stock clocks.
On the back of the card you can again see the cooling
solution, with the design Powercolor use the heat is generated
at the front of the card and moves to the rear.

You can see on the rear section of the
cooler that there are 4 screw holes, these can be used
to attach the provided fan should you feel it necessary,
though in a well ventilated case there isnt really a need.
Installing the fan was easy though and it was almost completely
silent when in use.
Powercolor’s Bravo X700 can be purchased online
for approx £100 / $145
