Introduction
Towards the latter half of 2008 we took a look at two high performance laptops from Alienware, the m15x and m17x. Both laptops offered phenomenal performance in an attractive package. Today we are going to look at the Alienware M17, a laptop which slips in next to the m17x, ditching Nvidia’s SLI for Crossfire and bringing quad core processing to the table on an updated platform.
The laptop is supplied in a large black box with Alienware’s logo across the front and contains the laptop and the bundle box.
The bundle contains a leather binder with the manual, a Nero Essentials CD, a Windows CD a mouse mat and an enormous power supply. The laptop also comes with a soft sleeve.
