Introduction
Far Cry 2 was released worldwide last week to rave reviews across the net (check out GamingHeavens PC review here) and it is sure to be one of the biggest selling games of the year. Like a few Ubisoft titles in recent times manufacturers such as XFX will bundle the game with their hardware and as this game uses the rather capable Ubisoft Montreal prioprietary engine Dunia it is a great showcase for modern day gaming hardware. It is a shame there is no Nvidia PhsyX support, however the Havok implementation is rather impressive.
XFX are bundling Far Cry 2 with a wide range of their products so when we approached them for this article they sent us over a great cross section of hardware for our analysis. We also compare against leading hardware from ATI to see which will give you the best gaming experience for your money.
