Looking at the front of the packaging you can see the tube of thermal compound and the provided applicator, a neat little addition to the product. The tube itself contains 5g of compound and should last you for quite a while.
The tube itself makes use of the typical syringe construction for easy use. The inclusion of the applicator was a fantastic idea and it’s this kind of accessory that helps make a product really appealing as a package. It’s easy to tell that Gelid are really thinking about the customer here and not trying to just rush out their product.
Beside the tube there is a list of various properties and a selection of awards the product has received.
On the back of the packaging, Gelid have provided the specifications of the compound and a graph comparing its performance to that of the most well known and widely used compound on the market, Arctic Silver 5. In addition, there is a selection of comments from various reviews.
There isn’t a lot you can do with packaging for such a small product, but Gelid have got their presentation right on the mark and the GC1 thermal compound is an appealing product.
