The Siberian Tiger comes pre-assembled, is easy to install and completely maintenance free. Compact water cooling solutions are becoming popular with enthusiasts who seek something more powerful (or silent) than a huge air cooler but are unsure of their ability to assemble a large water cooling system. Additionally, there is also the matter of pricing for a dedicated “build it yourself” WC kit.
Everything considered, NorthQ have their hands full, because similar compact water cooling solutions have proven highly ineffective during our indepth testing, performing worse than much cheaper air cooling solutions. Is the Siberian Tiger a competent cooling solution, or yet another product unworthy of your money? That’s why we are here today.

Packaging and Bundle
The NorthQ Siberian Tiger is supplied in a simple cardboard box with a handle at the top. The artwork is minimal and only the most basic features are listed however the package is sturdy and everything inside is very well supported by a clear plastic body so it should keep the product safe during shipping.
There are a plethora of items bundled with the Siberian Tiger. First of all, there are four retention brackets (socket 754/939, AM2, 775 and 478) and two back plates (socket 754/939, AM2), however the back plate is not necessary for sockets 478 and 775.
There are two fan speed controllers, a triple dial one you can install in an empty expansion slot of your case and a single dial one which can be installed internally. You can use either for controlling the fan of the Siberian Tiger, but they can be used to control any other 3-pin fan as well.
A crystal clear 120mm ball bearing fan provides the necessary airflow; the fan has blue lighting LED lights and an on/off switch which is right next to the 3-pin power header, not the most convenient place to have a switch to be perfectly honest. You will have to remove the side panel of your case in order to switch the LEDs on or off. Finally there are all of the necessary screws, thermal compound and an illustrative manual which is written only in English. It is a very thorough bundle.
